an accessible/usable web site.

  • Back doors
  • Bad spelling
  • Broken links
  • Complicated forms
  • Complicated web address
  • Complicated/non-consistent navigation.
  • Compulsive scripts
  • Distracting background images
  • Errors on the pages
  • Failure to overlook a site map
  • Flashing images or text
  • Frames
  • Images that represent text
  • Key information not at top of page
  • Logo not at top of page
  • Long downloading times (over 10 seconds)
  • No meta page title
  • No point of contact
  • No regular content update
  • Page title missing
  • Pages that are awaited content i.e. under construction
  • Pages that fail to resize
  • Pages that print badly
  • Poor contrast
  • Poor descriptions in alt tags i.e. alt=”logo”
